Cliff Miras

Miras Search Partners was founded by Cliff Miras in 2022 with the aim to become the trusted “go to” strategic search partner and career advisor, respectively, by the clients and candidates (Talent) the firm works very closely with.

Over the past 20+ years, Cliff has built two boutique pharmaceutical and biotechnology specialty Executive Retained Search and Recruitment Firms that have been recognized as both a “Top 40 Life Sciences Search Firm” and as one of America’s “Top 250 Executive Search Firms” by Hunt Scanlon: he has done this with Miras Search Partners that he founded in 2022, and with Cornerstone Search Group that he co-founded and led from 2000 to 2021.

In addition to his accountabilities for building, leading, and managing the overall activities for these firms over the past 20+ years, he has also led the successful development of M.D. Specialty Practices that have helped early/later clinical development and commercial stage companies of varying sizes hire M.D.s at all levels for roles as CMOs, Therapeutic Area Heads, Global Program Leaders, Clinical Development Leads, and Global/US Medical Affairs Leadership roles.

Cliff has extensive hands-on experience planning, leading, managing, executing and completing Retained Search and Recruiting assignments from A to Z (from intake through planning, strategy, research, outreach, interviewing, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, gaining acceptances, and handling counteroffers, resigning and onboarding) for a broad range of positions, at various position levels and in multiple functional areas: Discovery, Clinical R&D, Program Management, Project Management, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Medical Affairs, Drug Safety, Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Writing and others.

Our Strategic Alliances

Our firm constantly strives to improve, strengthen, and expand its retained search and recruitment capabilities for the benefit of all (i.e., our clients, candidates, and our firm too). We are a member of two selective Search Industry Strategic Alliances, which includes the Tinzon Group and the International Retained Search Association (IRSA). The members of these Alliances are highly successful and independently owned and operated Executive Search Firms based domestically in the USA, and internationally in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

All the search firm members of both Tinzon and IRSA share the same mindset, which is listen, learn, share best practices, new/improved searching, sourcing and assessment tools… to help each other continually improve.

This select group of firms provides its members with the ability to provide their clients with global reach, and industry expertise through synergistic shared knowledge, collaborations, and resources.

International Retained Search Association (IRSA)

IRSA is an alliance of independently owned and operated Executive Search Firms with member firms located in 18 different countries and with a combined 500+ years of search and recruitment industry experience. Our Managing Partner, Cliff Miras, is one of the originating and charter members of IRSA.
